Coastal Oak Kitchen

Set within a light-filled Florida residence, this kitchen was designed to balance warmth, restraint, and seamless functionality. The goal was to create a space that feels grounded yet refined, where natural materials and clean architectural lines define the experience.

Custom white oak cabinetry establishes a consistent visual language throughout, wrapping the perimeter and concealing integrated appliances for a calm, uninterrupted look. The island acts as a central anchor, clad in richly veined natural stone that introduces depth and contrast against the softer wood tones.

A muted tiled backsplash and integrated lighting provide a subtle backdrop, allowing texture and proportion to take precedence over ornament. Brass fixtures and minimal pendants were selected to introduce a quiet layer of warmth without overpowering the composition.

Storage was carefully considered, with a secondary wall of cabinetry and built-in refrigeration maintaining the kitchen’s clean geometry while supporting everyday use. The result is a space that feels intentional and effortless, tailored for both daily living and understated entertaining.
