This Hoboken kitchen began with a single conviction: that a well-designed space should feel both considered and effortless. The result is a kitchen that earns its beauty through restraint, where each finish, each proportion, each detail was chosen not to impress, but to endure.
Sage-green cabinetry in a soft, chalky matte brings a quiet depth to the perimeter walls, its hand-crafted panel detailing borrowing from classical millwork without ever feeling historicist. Brushed brass hardware, from the sculptural pulls to the arc of the kitchen faucet, threads warmth throughout, grounding what might otherwise read as cool and aloof.
The island anchors the room in a different register entirely. Wrapped in a dramatic book-matched stone with fluid grey veining, it commands attention the way a great piece of furniture does: unapologetically, but without noise. Below the waterfall edge, warm walnut cabinetry introduces a second material story, one that softens the marble's formality and speaks to the natural world.
Integrated appliances, a pop-up downdraft ventilation system, and an under-counter oven and microwave configuration speak to a philosophy shared by our most discerning clients: that the tools of daily life should disappear into the architecture. Overhead, slender brass pendant cylinders drop from a black track rail, casting focused warmth over a seating bar that invites lingering long after the meal is finished.
This is a kitchen designed not for the showroom, but for the life lived inside it.
